Poland - Masuria Olsztyn
Olsztyn is the capital of the Masuria region, also known as the Great Lakes region. There are in fact more than three thousand lakes joined by a system of canals and rivers, navigable even for journeys of days, in the midst of hills and woods.
For hunters it is a particularly favorable territory because the migratory routes of the north-east towards southern Europe and North Africa are joined in the concession area.
The city of Olsztyn is immersed in the woods and surrounded by a dozen lakes, and is also rich in historical evidence, including: the ancient castle now home to the Warmia-Masuria museum, the Market Square and the Church of San Iacopo, used during the Napoleonic wars as a prison for Russian prisoners.
Finally, not to forget, is the vitality of the city, full of clubs and music clubs and animated all year round by numerous events. Among the most interesting we can only point out Olsztyn's Artistic Summer.
Before the hunters arrive, three qualified Italian people will inspect the territory to find out which is the area with the highest concentration of geese and ducks and therefore have places to hunt the following days, leaving the territories to rest properly.
The hunt will take place in the 3 days in the dark waiting for sunrise, until the evening. All transfers will be made with minibuses or off-road vehicles owned by the agency.Every two hunters will be attended by a professional Italian escort with experience in hunting geese, who will assist the hunter throughout the activity.
The stalking are created by specialized personnel and are very accurate. The game will be preserved intact or plucked in cold rooms or frozen, at the discretion of the hunter.
Accommodation information: single room with bathroom in hotel with full board from dinner on the day of arrival to breakfast on the day of departure.
