Hunting tourism

Scotland - Bute island

Reason for interest:

The island of Bute is one of the most suggestive hunting destinations in Europe for the presence, from November to January, of the Piarist.

However, it is also a world made of gnomes and goblins, which knows no harsh winters and which in the past has seen its green glenn inhabited by proud warriors who vehemently opposed the Roman armies. On the same hunting grounds, you can challenge the elusive woodcock in dozens and dozens of meetings and admire deer and roe deer, undisputed masters of the woods.

Those who want can also enjoy a stake in the geese that frequent the fields by the sea while the seagulls sanction with their clumsy cry that nature is the real mistress. This very green private island, located between Scotland and Ireland, embraced by the Gulf Stream, has a mild climate even in the coldest season, thanks to which woodcocks come abundant from Norway and the Scottish Highlands for wintering.

Green heather meadows and stained with broom, long pine forests and small hornbeam woods, open pastures that slide against a cold and strong sea, taking the breath away from the admired hunter. The hunting ground is vast and allows the woodcock hunter to live 4 different hunting days for lovers of hunting dogs. The island of Bute is a small Scottish charm for hunters with a stationary dog who love challenges, hard and rewarding hunting. The absolute protagonist of the holiday is her, the woodcock and few places in the world allow you to hunt as high quality as in Bute.
